JS_ObjectIsDate

Determines if a specified object is a Date object.

Syntax

JS_ObjectIsDate(JSContext *cx, JS::HandleObject obj);
Name Type Description
cx JSContext * Pointer to a JavaScript context from which to derive runtime information. Requires request. In a JS_THREADSAFE build, the caller must be in a request on this JSContext.
obj JSObject * JSObject that should be checked.

Description

JS_ObjectIsDate() can be used to check if you are dealing with a Date object, or a Date object used across compartments (or windows or sites, in the browser embedding).  This function returns true if the object is a Date.
