Summary

The DOM MozMmsMessage object represents an MMS message and has all the information about sender, recipient, body content, attachements, and date of the message itself.

A string with the value mms.
MozMmsMessage.id Read only
Returns a number representing the id of the message.
MozMmsMessage.threadId Read only
Returns a number representing the id of the thread the message is part of.
MozMmsMessage.subject Read only
Returns a DOMString representing the subject of the message.
MozMmsMessage.smil Read only
Returns a DOMString representing the SMIL content of the message.
MozMmsMessage.attachments Read only
Returns an array of objects representing the attachment necessary to the SMIL content. Those objects contain an id, a location, and a content which is a Blob.
MozMmsMessage.expiryDate Read only
Returns a Date object representing the expiry date for an MMS to be manully downloaded.
MozMmsMessage.delivery Read only
Returns a DOMString which represents the state of the message delivery on the device point of view
MozMmsMessage.deliveryStatus Read only
Returns a Array of DOMString which represents the state of the message delivery on the receivers point of view
MozMmsMessage.read Read only
Returns a Boolean indicating whether a message is read or unread.
MozMmsMessage.receivers Read only
Returns an array of DOMString with the phone numbers of each receiver.
MozMmsMessage.sender Read only
Returns a DOMString with the name of the sender.
MozMmsMessage.timestamp Read only
Returns a Date object with the timestamp of the message.

Specifications

This is a nonstandard implementation, but it is discussed at W3C as part of the System Application Working Group.
