Escape Sequences
Octal escape sequences (\ followed by one, two, or three octal digits) are deprecated in string and regular expression literals.
The escape
and unescape
functions are deprecated. Use encodeURI
, encodeURIComponent
, decodeURI
or decodeURIComponent
to encode and decode escape sequences for special characters.
