This feature is non-standard and is not on a standards track. Do not use it on production sites facing the Web: it will not work for every user. There may also be large incompatibilities between implementations and the behavior may change in the future.
Summary
-moz-force-broken-image-icon
is an extended CSS property. The value 1
forces a broken image icon even if the image has an alt
attribute. When the value 0
is used the image will act as usual and only display the alt
attribute.
Note: Even if the value is set to
1
the alt
