overflow-clip-box

Non-standard
This feature is non-standard and is not on a standards track. Do not use it on production sites facing the Web: it will not work for every user. There may also be large incompatibilities between implementations and the behavior may change in the future.

Summary

The overflow-clip-box CSS property specifies relative to which box the clipping happens when there is an overflow.

On Gecko, by default, padding-box is used everywhere, but <input type="text"> and similar use the value content-box. Prior to Firefox 29, this behavior was hardcoded; since then it uses this property that can be used elsewhere too. Note that this property is activated by default only in the UA stylesheet and chrome contexts.
