MozSmsMessage.deliveryStatus

This article needs a technical review. How you can help.

This API is available on Firefox OS for internal applications only.

Summary

The deliveryStatus property represents the current state of the message delivery from the recipient perspective.

Syntax

var delivery = instanceOfMozSmsMessage.deliveryStatus;

Value

A string which can be one of the following:

  • pending        : The message is awaiting delivery.
  • success        : The message has been sent by the device.
  • error          : The message could not be delivered.
  • not-applicable : The message has been sent without status report requisition.

The values of that property are conditioned by the value of the MozMmsMessage.delivery property:

delivery deliveryStatus
sending pending
not-applicable
sent pending
success
error
not-applicable
The following is pointless as deliveryStatus has no real meaning when receiving a message
received success
error error
