MozMobileMessageManager.delete()

This API is available on Firefox OS for internal applications only.

Summary

The delete method is used to delete a given message.

Syntax

var request = navigator.mozMobileMessage.delete(message);

Parameters

message
The id or an array of id of the messages to delete or the message itself as a MozSmsMessage or MozMmsMessage object or an array of these objects.

Return

A DOMRequest to handle the success or error of the operation. In case of success, the request's result is a boolean indicating if the message has been deleted (true) or not (false).

Specifications

This is a non-standard implementation, but it is discussed at W3C as part of the System Application Working Group.
