Dieses Werkzeug vereinfacht es, beliebige Farben zu kreieren, um sie dann für das Internet zu verwenden. Außerdem erlaubt es, Farben in verschiedene von CSS unterstützte Formate zu konvertieren. Dazu zählen: HEXA-Farben, RGB (Rot/Grün/Blau) und HSL (Farbton/Sättigung/relative Helligkeit). Bei Verwendung der Farbformate RGB (rgba) und HSL (hsla) wird es auch unterstützt, den Alphakanal einzustellen.

Jede Farbe wird in allen drei im Internet üblichen CSS-Formaten ausgedrückt. Weiters wird für die ausgewählte Farbe jeweils eine Palette für HSL (Farbton/Sättigung/relative Helligkeit), HSV (Farbton/Sättigung/Hellwert) und den Alphakanal angezeigt. Das Spektrum des Farbauswahl-Werkzeuges kann man zwischen dem HSL- und HSV-Farbraum umschalten.
