Non-standard
This feature is non-standard and is not on a standards track. Do not use it on production sites facing the Web: it will not work for every user. There may also be large incompatibilities between implementations and the behavior may change in the future.
The trimLeft()

Syntax
str.trimLeft()

A new string representing the calling string stripped of whitespace from its left end.
Description
The trimLeft()

does not affect the value of the string itself.
Examples
Using trimLeft()

var str = ' foo '; console.log(str.length); // 8 str = str.trimLeft(); console.log(str.length); // 5 console.log(str); // 'foo '
