The entries()
method returns a new Array Iterator
object that contains the key/value pairs for each index in the array.
Syntax
arr.entries()
Return value
A new Array
iterator object.
Examples
var arr = ['a', 'b', 'c']; var eArr = arr.entries(); console.log(eArr.next().value); // [0, 'a'] console.log(eArr.next().value); // [1, 'b'] console.log(eArr.next().value); // [2, 'c']
Same as above, using a for…of loop:
var arr = ['a', 'b', 'c']; var eArr = arr.entries(); for (let e of eArr) { console.log(e); }
