Warning : WIP — This place will be used to build the whole Learning Area Zone. This will be the landing page for that section of MDN. Feel free to help. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ping Jeremie.
Hello and welcome to the MDN Learn zone. If you want to learn how to create your own web pages, sites or apps, you have come to the right place!
There are many things to learn about web design and development, but don't worry — whether you are a complete beginner or want to take your skills further, and whether you want to become a professional web developer or just want to learn a little bit of code, we can give you some knowledge to help.
Where to go first
To move forward, think about which of the following statements best describes you, and go to the relevant linked starter page:
- If you are a complete beginner to design or coding, start working through our Getting started with the Web article series.
- If you are not a complete beginner and want to learn to code in depth, go to our Learn Technologies pages, which cover HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python.
Note: In the future we intend to publish more learning pathways, for example for experienced coders who want to learn specific advanced techniques, native developers who are new to the Web, or people who want to learn design techniques.
I need help
If you have read the above section and are still not sure where to go, or you have a question, feel free to contact us via the mechanisms listed below:
