<p>The <strong>HTML <code>&lt;rt&gt;</code> Element</strong> embraces pronunciation of characters presented in a ruby annotations, which are used to describe the pronunciation of East Asian characters. This element is always used inside a {{ HTMLElement("ruby") }} element.</p>
