RTCIdentityEvent.assertion

This is an experimental technology
Because this technology's specification has not stabilized, check the compatibility table for the proper prefixes to use in various browsers. Also note that the syntax and behavior of an experimental technology is subject to change in future versions of browsers as the spec changes.

The read-only property RTCIdentityEvent.assertion returns the DOMString containing a blob being the coded assertion associated with the event.

Firefox implements the interface this property belongs to under the following name: RTCPeerConnectionIdentityEvent. It is likely that it will correct this name when it will unprefix RTCPeerConnection, once spec and implementation will have been stabilized.

Syntax

 var blob = event.assertion;

Example

pc.onidentityresult = function( ev ) {
                         alert("A new identity assertion (blob: '" +
                               ev.assertion +
                               "') has been generated.");
                      }
