This feature is not on a current W3C standards track, but it is supported on the Firefox OS platform. Although implementations may change in the future and it is not supported widely across browsers, it is suitable for use in code dedicated to Firefox OS apps.

概要
isConnected メソッドは Bluetooth profile を持つデバイスが接続されているかをチェックするのに使用されます。
このメソッドは デバイスが BluetoothAdapter.connect() メソッドに第２引数を指定せずに接続された場合に役に立ちます。なぜなら Bluetooth プロファイルはプラットフォームに依存するため、時としてBluetooth プロファイルが利用可能かどうかをチェックする必要があるためです。
