The overflow event is fired when an element has been overflowed by its content or has been rendered for the first time in this state (only works for elements styled with overflow != visible).

Property Type Description

type Read only DOMString The type of event.
bubbles Read only boolean Does the event normally bubble?
cancelable Read only boolean Is it possible to cancel the event?
view Read only WindowProxy document.defaultView (the window of the document).
detail Read only long (float) 0 for vertical overflow, 1 for horizontal, 2 for both
