Stuff that's going on

General

  • Wiki upgrades have obviously been completed. There are some changes that have been made, some other that are going to be made, and some new features of which to be aware.
    • The title override extension tag is now "title-override" rather than "title". If you come across a page that has the old tag, please modify it to the new tag.
    • If you go to your preferences page, you can specify (and verify) your email address. This will allow you to use the "send mail on page change" system, which will send you email if one of the pages on your watch list has changed. It will only tell you about the first change since your last visit, and not spam you with every change. It will not email if you're the one making the changes.
    • We will be changing the format and structure of the Main Page, and top level topic pages (ie: JavaScript, CSS, etc). This will be happening over the next few days, with initial changes being completed by Thursday.
    • We can now do redirects to external pages. The format is exactly the same as internal redirects, only with a https:// or https:// url instead of the page name.
    • We can now add categories to redirect pages.
    • You can now set your Preferences so you receive email when pages on your watchlist are changed.
    • We use an RSS extension to receive feeds from the Webwatch blog directly into wiki pages.
